Jeanette is available to speak and teach at in-person and virtual events, retreats, and workshops both locally and through travel engagements.
Through her bold, radical permission-based approach, she offers humans on the precipice space to claim their sovereignty, unleash their voice, and take ownership of their lives and creative purpose.
Jeanette believes that whether the goal is writing your memoir or leaving behind toxic patterns (and everything in between), the reclamation of personal power begins with owning the power of your story, deconstructing the masks that keep us from embracing the entirety of our loud, complex, messy, paradoxical selves and shedding the same given us by religion, culture, family or the patriarchy, and integrating and activating the sovereignty that has always been within us all.
Jeanette believes that by prioritizing our contract with the self we write an individualized perception for creating a life as a human sovereign unto ourselves—the most sacred and important agreement we get to make and uphold in this lifetime.
Whether she is leading a workshop in writing the wisdom of a life well-lived or delivering a rousing keynote to empower her audience to claim their sovereignty, Jeanette’s work is guided by the four pillars of radical permission, bold reclamation, tender healing, and a whole-helluv-a-lot-o grace.
A powerfully emotive speaker and teacher, Jeanette will provide tools to help all those listening alchemize their lives and stories so that they feel both solidly grounded and wildly free.

Jeanette spent most of her life working very hard to be a good girl. One day she woke up and decided to write her way out of her own life – things haven’t been the same since. Single mama to two entirely self-possessed teen daughters, Jeanette believes in the smooth honey burn of whiskey, the crashing of mama ocean, pencil skirts, vintage band tees and badass boots, the kinship of the wild wolf, walking for miles in unfamiliar cities, that the burn down need not always precedes the rise, the singular power of dark red lipstick and the necessity of putting out for the muse on the regular. Oh yes – and that sometimes our stories are the only things that can actually save us. Jeanette is the author of You Are Not Too Much | Love Notes On Heartache, Redemption, and Reclamation – available at all major online retailers.
A self-taught writer with an utterly unused science degree—and careers of birth doula, nonprofit founder, and professional photographer along the way)—Jeanette has always preferred to pave her own way and make up her own rules.
Raised a small-town preacher’s daughter, never living more than minutes from the Atlantic Ocean, Jeanette was forged into the human she is under the blazing heat of the Arizona Desert. A potent mix of ocean current and roaring fire, she takes comfort in inhabiting the liminal spaces and staggering the paradox of the in-between.

These are just a few of the monikers Jeanette’s followers have given her over the years. At heart, Jeanette is a truth-teller and a way-finder, passionate about serving humans who are seeking permission to stop seeking permission. Through a process of writing, deep questioning, practicing trust, and wide-open allowance, Jeanette helps her clients and students to find their freedom, embrace their wild, unleash their voice, shed their shame, own their desire and the wholeness of themselves as sovereign beings.
In the past 8 years, well over 1000 humans have experienced her life-changing work through challenges, workshops, speaking engagements, and one-on-one work. With a combined social media reach of 56,000, K Jeanette is committed to showing up on social media with rawness and realness, recognizing the deep privilege that allows her to share so openly also comes with responsibility for speak into spaces many of her readers are not safe to explore openly.
A queer single mother of two entirely self-possessed teen daughters, Jeanette, raised a small-town preacher’s daughter, left a heterosexual marriage when she came out at 32 years of age, rapidly deconstructing not only her present reality but the only future she had ever imagined. Jeanette often writes and teaches into the complex spaces where these identities intersect and as such her work resonates with humans in the midst of a major transition, burn down or rise.
Spoken word poet Andrea Gibson says “Jeanette has one of the most compassionate voices I’ve heard, so fully tender, and lit with gratitude.” while internationally acclaimed artist and founder of Storypeople Brian Andreas describes Jeanette’s writing as “deep, true, passionate. Beautiful. With a fierceness and cracked openness…”

Jeanette Leblanc’s stage presence is not just magnetic, it’s magnetizing
Her words charged us, made us feel like we were more than flesh and thoughts and feelings. She spoke to our spirits. We became a little more ourselves under her influence.
I’m profoundly happy I asked Jeanette to read at my event. Her words are provocative and compelling – her presence near mystical. The way she captivates an audience is second to none. Not to mention her actual poetry is damn good stuff.
I recommend you book her while you still can.”

Jeanette has a way with words that helps you remember what it means to be alive.
She welcomed us all into a state of presence, wrapped us up in love, and opened our hearts wide…all with some beautiful words. Words that came straight from her soul, gently + fiercely delivered right into ours.

It is a delight to hear Jeanette read her poetry.
Her voice and words felt like liquid truth fire on my skin and switch a flashlight on in my mind. I experienced such needed clarity that I didn’t even know I was craving.
In her words I recognize all those lost feelings that I have been wanting to say to myself. In her work I feel understood and spoken to, and spoken with, and witnessed in places that I never saw before myself.
I thank you, Jeanette, for being who you are and speaking who you are. In so many precise ways your work does just as you promised, reminding me of my ‘wild heart and my holy howl’! After reading your work I feel my hair catching on fire in a good way and bad way.
Thank you for reminding me I am a badass and also a good ass.
